The Film The Fortieth Step, shot during last December’s cinema lesson, is coming into being.
____
A few more weeks’ patience and you will be able to see the film and its bonuses on the Festival’s website.

We have watched the copy of this work, a beautiful 5 minutes short film in black and white with credits, carried by actor Grégoire LEPRINCE-RINGUET’s play. We can’t wait to show it to you!






 
 
Registrations are open! - March 15, 2011
The 34th Rencontres Henri Langlois, International film schools festival, will take place in Poitiers in December, from 2nd to 11th, 2011.

Registrations to participate to the Competition's preselection are now open.
Can be registered: films completed by students in cinema/audiovisual after January 1st 2010, of any running time or genre.

Freshly typed out and on its way to the printer that will give it its paper coat… here it is, the one and only, the festival program, day by day!

Film Market - October 8, 2010
The Film Market of the Festival will take place from the 6th to the 11th of December 2010.
____
It offers an opportunity to discover short, medium- and feature-length films of all genres (fiction, documentary, animation and experimental) from over 220 schools worldwide.
____
The catalog will also be available on the festival site and lists the 1302 pieces of work the festival received in 2010, as well as the accredited’s contacts.

47 films in Competition! - October 8, 2010
____
This year, we received 1302 films originally from 222 film and audiovisual schools or university departments, representing 57 countries.
____
After hours of viewing sessions and heated discussions, the festival crew and its 15-member Selection Committee (photo) have picked the films which will have the opportunity to enter the competitive section of the Rencontres Henri Langlois 2010!
____
34 schools accross 22 countries will be represented through 11 different programs.
____

Resource centre - March 11, 2010

Each edition of the Festival is a privileged opportunity for exchanges between the representatives of film schools worldwide, especially during professional round tables.
