Maryse LEON GARCIA :

Maryse Léon-Garcia is a screenwriter whose works "Halfaouine", "Les Siestes Grenadines", and "La Vie est Belle" were co-written with their respective directors. She also collaborated with the director Igor Minaev on the fiction Tchaïkovsky. She graduated from the screen writing department at the University of California in Los Angeles and is the author of a manual on "how to write your first screenplay" (published by Dixit). She has also had several interventions as a script doctor, and on occasion runs screenwriting workshops as was the case during a three year period at the French Cinemathèque (film archives).
