Jérôme Vidal is a cinema producer. Right now, he’s the project manager of the production company Lazennec et Associés. In 1999, he won the Producer award at the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film International Festival. From 2001 to 2003, he was member of the “Aide à la Distribution” Commission, and of the “Aide au Développement” Commission for the feature films project at the Centre National de la Cinématographie. He often takes part in festivals, conference and workshops (at La fémis for instance). In 2003, he became member of the “European Cinema Workshop” net, and was the Procirep Cinema Commission chairman. For ten years, he was the manager and producer of Quo Vadis. During this period, he produced numerous short films and feature films. Since 2005, he’s been collaborating with Spain as coproducer for two films : “Ce que je sais de Lola” by Javier Rebollo with Lola Duéñas as executive producer, and “l’Éducation des fées” by José Luis Cuerda (produced by Tonasol Films), collaborating with Elias Querejeta -with whom he had already worked on “les Lundis au soleil”.
