Christmas Eve, a small remote station. Four travelers are waiting for a train which has been delayed by the snow. A mechanic Santa, a whimsy coffee machine and crackling loudspeaker announcements will soon bring those travelers closer.

Student Jury's Prize

Quiet and sincere nine-year-old Sam is nervous about his first confession: he has not committed any sin, therefore he cannot be absolved. His best friend helps him to perpetrate one. This innocent prank turns into a tragedy.

Leopold is an illegal immigrant who lives in Paris. From the restaurant kitchen he works in to the makeshift camp he lives in, he daily suffers from police hunts and racism. He gets involved in dangerous bets to survive.
