PITCHIn keeping with its mission to support budding talent, the Festival organizes a series of sessions between professional and young film-makers. After the success this appointment won during its launching last year, the Festival invite directors selected for its 32nd edition to initiate themselves to this formative exercise, coming to present a film project in front of a committee composed with French professionals: ____ ■Marion DOUSSOT (scriptwriter), ■Ludovic HENRY (producer « Les Films au long cours »), ■Céline MAUGIS (producer « La Vie est belle Films associés »), ■Frédérique MOREAU (scriptwriter), ■Justin TAURAND (producer « Les Films du Bélier »). The sessions will take place during the Festival and will be structured as follows: a presentation of projects by young film-makers in front of a panel of five producers/scriptwriters to be followed by individual sessions to give each young author the opportunity to meet with one member of the panel. The sessions will provide young film-makers with an opportunity to explain the difficulties they encounter and to have their work appraised by professionals - a small helping hand which can go a long way in the context of writing up a project. All European film directors selected for Competition and the programs Côté Courts Français, Gay friendly and Docs d’Europe are invited to make an application of 10 pages maximum, in French or in English, composed of a synopsis, a statement of intent and a written sequence, at the latest November 18th by email or to the following address: Rencontres Henri Langlois - Miss Camille Sanz - TAP scène nationale - 1 bd Verdun - 86000 POITIERS - FRANCE. |
